Our Story Mr. Saraya founded Happy Elephant after discovering that palm oil production was leading to deforestation of Borneo's biodiverse lands. Concerned about an injured elephant trapped in a man-made snare, he partnered with the Borneo Conservation Trust to help protect migratory routes and promote sustainable palm oil plantations.
